New car, need new ideas
Thursday I am going pick up my new 2002 Camaro SS. Its black on black, 26,000 miles, still smells and looks brand new inside. I am kind of weary of modding it, because it is such a nice car, but its bound to happen.
First off, My friend who is a master at fiberglass work is going to do a fiberglass trunk install painted the same black of the car. I am going to get the SLP glossy black SS grille for the front.
Where is a cheap place to get this?
I am also thinking of gettin the silver ss hood scoop insert. Anyone know where to get this?
I was thinking that the brushed aluminum decals (camaro rear fill, ss overlays) would look really nice, but I like the 2 tone look that the emblems have, so I am kind of wary of changing this.
Brent, do you make any emblems that keep the 2 tone look?
Wheels-
I was thinking 18x9.5 or 18x10.5 Z06 replica's. Maybe even an 18 and 17 mix.
One more thing thats a little off topic. I remember reading somewhere that the camaro SS's came with a "cone of silence" in the exhaust. Does this one have it? The exhaust sounded a little wimpy.
Thanks for reading this, I am a bit long winded because I am full of ideas. Feel free to criticize.
