Talking The New Car

Just got my new car- a black 97 Z- all stock except tinted windows.
I plan on putting my green SG Gold UB kit on w/ my green license plate interior neons.
Right now the car looks really sleek w/ the all black interior.
So, should I leave the interior black or paint it like i did my last Z? (It was painted green w/ white vents- the car was bright green metallic). If i should paint it, what color? (NOT red; i've considered Silver, Orange, and white maybe)
What other things do yall think I should do to the new car?

Here are the plans so far (pretty much consist of migrating old parts to the new Z):
-Install my system (MTX 6000 stealthbox)
-Install the neons- green interior and exterior
-Paint the Z28 emblems chrome
-Put my Chrome bowtie and CF nose emblem on
-Install my CAI and airfoil

Thanks for the input,
J

If it were me, I would throw away the neons, but that's me. Then I'd go with diamond clear corners, silver emblems, and maybe paint parts of the interior silver.

If you're set on installing the neons you might be able to pull off green emblems/interior to match the neons, but it would have to be done just right. If not, you'd completely ruin the car.

Then I'd install the Loudmouth catback

Don't do silver (or any of that other stuff)...
That's what I'm doing...

Be original...

Congrats on the new car!

Keep us posted on everything you do!

any pics of White?
It amost seems like it'd be too much contrast w/ a black exterior/interior, but pics would help.
Thanks,
J

Well if your going to use some green neons, definitly stay away from the Orange
I would go with the Silver....it pretty much goes with the interior...plus any other color scheme you want to do on the exterior.
Check my link in the sig for pics of my silver interior. It was on the Silver car which helped, but it still goes great with the interior.

But now that my car is in the shop getting painted "Kandy" Orange... I am having them paint the interior pieces the same color
I'll have some pics of the Kandy Orange Maro in the next few weeks

DIT: I also have that Silver rear taillight panel that was on my car...that would look sick on the back of your Black Z. It would be the exact opposite of my Silver w/ Black
Let me know if your interested!

Why is everyone saying that???

Sick is sick...that's not good, ya know???
(I must be getting old)

I can't wait to see that Kandy Orange Camaro! I hope it doesn't look sick, though...

Keep us posted!

Well i have a Metallic Green "Z28" 3rd brake light. I thought about just carefully painting over the green in black. I got it from Custolight. Is your silver one painted or what?
The Silver interior looks tight! (can i say tight?)
For the rear CAMARO inserts and Z28 emblem, did you paint them? In the pics they look silver like the interior. Are they silver or chrome? I want to paint my emblems chrome but don't know how...

Lastly, do you still have your stock Chrome 5-spokes? Mine are the 5-spoke alloys. I might could relieve you of them- they probably take up too much space in your garage (the Z06's look great too).
