Use LEDs...

They are cheap, and much smaller. I bought one off Ebay to hook to my alarm. The new gallium nitride (or something like that) ones are really bright.

They are all over ebay, check it out...

i dont want to get too far off subject......but am i the only one who thinks that the lighted winshield washer squirters are the gayest thing in the world? That is like one of the ultimate ricer things you can do to your car.....might just be me. Use LEDs. I had them in my truck, they worked really good. If you really want to get creative, have multiple colors, and rig them up so they fade colors and stuff. I wouldnt do it, but some people like that kind of stuff.

It's a good thing we don't have those damn sprayers on our hoods

That way I don't have to point and laugh at other F-Bods

i have a 5 inch tube behind my center air vents and two 2 inchers behind the small ones
i have the 97+ camaro dash and that combo works great
if you have the old camaro dash use the 2 inch tubes
if you have a firebird with circluar vents i would use LED's but im not too sure about that because ive never owned one
(im asuming you have a 4th gen)

go to

www.streetglow.com

a little expensive but ready to hard wire with the trasnformers built right in, and very bright; i use neo-blue

Use some candles, scented preferred, and simply dump some gas (any octane) in the vent to make your car really light up! Show all the other neon kiddies what it's really all about!
