Need some thoughts on colors for interior painting *PICS*

Ok everyone. I'm looking to paint some peices of my interior. My car is Cayenne red. It has a medium grey colored interior, but with black dash. What I was wondering was, do you think silver accents would look good? I've enclosed some pics to help with the colors for ya. I'm going with silver, as it matches the rims.

Also, has anyone ever painted those fake air scoops on the hood? I've got an extra set, and was thinking of painting them silver.

Let me know any thoughts you have.

Thanks in Advance!

Dan

Go with subtle red accents.

And I wouldn't paint the lil scoops at all. It just doesn't look right.

Yeah. The Scoops I really wasn't planing on. I just had an extra set here, and I thought I might give it a shot. In fact, I think I still will, and I'll post pics, so you guys can see what ya think.

Well, perhaps I'll go get some silver paint, and get going on the painting.

I think while I'm at it I'm gona re do my dash lights in red.

My interior is accented silver. You can see pics of it on my website (link in the sig).

As far as the scoops, I think they would look cool silver. I am probably going to do mine, but I haven't gotten around to it yet.

By the way, I used silver vinyl paint to do mine and then clear coated them to make them a little more durable. They have held up pretty well, with the exception of the door sills. They are starting to show some wear.

Yep, I saw your pics, I did a lot of research on this last night

I didn't want to post ANOTHER thread on this topic, cuz as I searched, I found it had been discussed nearly to death already. But the more I looked, I really couldn't find many cars with a Grey (Graphite?) interior like mine, that people had done panting on. So I wanted to see what people thought.

Yeah, I'm thinking the scoops might look look cool silver. I'm sure they would on your car, cuz you can't go wrong with Black/Silver combo.

I also really like the Cayenne red & Silver combo. So It might work. I guess I'll have to wait and see.
If I end up not liking the silver ones I paint, I'll send them to ya for shipping cost.

I think you should paint your interior pieces the same color as your car. It gives a very clean, factory look and does not look like rice.

Perhaps I will do that if I can find a decent paint match.

I didn't paint tonight, I got side tracked with other projects. Namely changing my Guage bulbs to red. I think it came out quite nice.

I'm in the process of detailing now.
