Do you guys think 20" Spinning rims would look cool on a 98 camaro?

Do you guys think 20" Spinning rims would look cool on a 98 camaro?

I was thinking of buying some of the spinning rims often seen on escalades and yukons etc to put on a 1998 Z28. I've seen several 20"'s spinning rims on rim stores and on ebay and I asked the guy if they fit on 98 camaros which he said they can but with the lowest profile tires they make, the 245/35/20.

Do you guys think they would look good, or do you guys think they are too big? I'm also wondering how the ride would feel on such low profile tires.

Simple answer? No. It would look ghetto. It just doesn't work with a Camaro.

If your talking about the Davin's that Spreewell racing has...then get ready to dish out 10k+....and thats just for the wheels

IMO, it just wouldn't look right...they belong on big balla cars, not F-Bodies

the way i look at it is, who else would have that? it all depends on what kind of look you are going for.. if he bought the camaro to look good and dont race much then i would do it.. some say my wheels look ghetto but i dont have any regrets because i see how many compliments i get on them when im out driving then i did with my 17's.

Exactly. I've seen them on so many SUVs around here that I'm already sick of them. Stuff like that belongs on a pimpmobile, not a Camaro.

I'd have to agree. Definitely not on an F-Body...Unless you get a crushed velvet interior and a mural on the hood, and Reds Hydrolics, then maybe it could work, maybe...

I'm gunna say the same thing I did to his original post, and your pictures prove it to me. it is WAY out of proportion. It's looks very ghetto, first, if you have 20's, it's either gotta be lifted, but usually slammed to the ground. You have way too much ground clearance still on your TA for that too look good, and it would take another good couple thousand to make the car sit lower. Save the money and mod the **** out of your car, 20's are way too big, 18's are good. i've only seen good 19's once, and 20's......

apparantly you've never seen a 19" front, 20" back setup

Not all 20's are ghetto, HRE's for example = perfect, and FAR from "ghetto"

the bonspeed intense 5's in 20's (like on whistlers car) are also a great wheel choice.

Not every 20" wheel looks like a flower
