Need rev. indiglo install help

Help, I just got a reverse indiglo overlay from someone on Ebay, and it came with no instructions. I know how to get the overlays on the dash part, I just don't know how to wire them. From the actual overlay, there is a connector, I'm guessing that goes to the switch. Then on the power supply there's the switch, the part that plugs in to the connector on the overlay, and a red and black wire. What do I wire those to? Any other helpful tips on this would be appreciated. Thanks.

99% chance that the black wire is your ground. You want to connect that would make a good ground. I tapped into the floor right above the pedals when i did mine.

The red wire is going to be your power wire. You want to connect this to a part in your fuse box that only turns on when the car turns on. Take a look in your manual to figure out which ones work like that. It is usually easier to do also if you have one of the electrical parts kits so you can connect it to the end so it slides right in like a fuse.

The connector part should be self explanatory and go together for the change in lighting options (dim and color).

Hope this helps.

damn you Daniel... where were you when I needed that 3 weeks ago. Took me forever to figure out how to get to the gauges to install mine.
You can get the little wire splicer things from radio shack or pep boys and splice into the wires from the dimmer, this way you can control the brightness the same way as the factory. Also, you can ground it almost anywhere under there, theres enough metal under the dash where that shouldn't be an issue. If you need me to figure out what color the wire is to splice I can go look at it tommorow.

Jason

oops I guess I must have missed your post! Sorry about that! I didn't tie into my dimmer switch b/c the instructions that came with my indiglos said not to tie into the dimmer switch. I just tied into the brown wire that comes off of the headlight switch which causes the indiglos to come on with the parking lights.
