need help tire shopping
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/Compar...WR8HTRZ2_qty=4
im thinking about these 3 tires. they say the price and then the quantity is 4. it sounds like u get them all for that price but that dont seem right. im guessing that is each tire right?
also tire wear rating, the higher number the longer it last right? i couldn't figure out by the help if higher or lower was better. do u know what that would reflect in real miles like 220 rating would last how many miles? 22,000?

well im not sure how to bring u to the page to compare the tires so ill give the names Bridgestone Potenza S-03 Pole Position
Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 Kumho ECSTA Supra 712
Sumitomo HTR Z II Sumitomo HTR+
they are all 245/40 18
i know this will be difficult now but help will be apriciated.

maybe this will work. the tread wear has a rating of 220 AA A i know the third A is the top grade for holding temperature and the first 2 A's are the top grade for traction. but it says 220 wears 2.2 times long as a tire of 100. but it doesnt say how long the 100 wears.

I have kuhmo ecsta supra 712's (275 40 zr17) and they handle
like champs in the rain. I have not hydoplaned once. when I had
the stock goodyears that was my biggest problem, the rain. But
now I dont have worry about anyting I highly recommend them
and the price is alot better than all the others.

thanks alot. that really put into perspective how the tires where rated because they are all rated against each other and not the tires i currently have. im pretty confident for forking over some money for nice tires now. but i still need help with the tire wear numbers. can anyone else help me? i need to know around how many miles a 220 tires would wear. that is the rating for wear it got not how wide the tires are.
