Need help with Halo headlights

Hey guys, I hooked up some new black Halo headlights to my 99 Z' and apparently either they're both defective or I wired them in incorrectly. My question is which of the two wires(brown and black) is ground and +? The headlight wires are red and white. The lights work fine but it's the halo that isn't lighting up.
Best regards,
Sam

Black should be ground on everything on your car except maybe speaker wires.

How do you have it hooked in?

If you are using those wire tapping blue blocks sometimes they don't tap the wire all the way to the copper. So you might need to strip the wire insulation back a little and re-install the blocks.
