Get your bowtie painted orange and try it out. Trust me it will look a lot better.

That has to be one of the best looking 4th gens out there. That hood, paint job, rims - it all goes together perfectly. Awesome job man!!!

Got any video of it in action?

Thanks!

I can link you to a vid of me losing to a 383 Camaro. I've got one from my burnout, but it's a 160 MB file, so I wouldn't even begin to know where to host it.

I washed all the heaviest muck off with a rag, soap, and warm water. After that, I got out a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser (actually a box of them) and went to town. Probably not something I'd do again as it can wear through the paint if you do it too hard. From now on though, since I've gotten it nice and clean, if I just keep it up I shouldn't ever have to use them again.

All the rubber and plastic parts got sprayed with tire spray and then I wiped them off with a rag. If you leave the tire spray on there it just mixes with the dirt and becomes sludge.

Well you did an excellent job. I sprayed everything down with simple green and let it sit for a few min then lightly sprayed it off with the hose making sure that I was moving the water from front to back. Vented opti seems to do alright long as you don't soak it. Wondered if you did the same/similar thing. Yours turned out better than mine!

I've always been leery of using a stream of water around the opti, so I go the longer and harder route of doing it by hand. Takes longer, but you can really get down in to all those tight spots.

set up a meet time with him and I'll sneak in for the kill.

He'll realize it looks so good he won't take it off.
