TA's have a luxury to do that.
For your car I would say get some aftermarket housings and bulbs.
I have AutoOptiks ones, but I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy.. the product isn't that bad, but CS BLOWS... it took 3 weeks for my GF to get 2 headlight bulbs for her car that we were supossed to have in 3 days...
I'm using a 80/100 bulb in aftermarket housings and they work fairly good...
Although I do have a VARY LARGE trick up my sleeve and if all goes well.... there WILL be a headlight option similar to the PIAA setup on Brent's Camaro come spring time when I am back in school and have access to get back to designing and building them..
and YES I will be selling parts come spring if everything goes right.

GM makes an export headlight housing for the '93-'97 Formula's and Trans Am's and they allow you to switch bulbs, rather than the sealed that are on US versions. Plus they are far better in terms of reflective qualities.
