I like the side mirror. It looks like it should be there and then you read it. I'm not into the big kick *** stereo systems but that box looks really nice in there.

Everyone has always liked the steering wheel, regretfully it is painted with upholstery dye, it has been painted for 2 years and has a small amount of scratches, it needs a touch up, but since it doesnt flake peel or scratch off very easily I will touch it up again, this is since I used the dye spray paint, 2years is a long time. Only the deep scratches will show the stock black leather.( so tell your girl to watch her nails) just kidding nails won't scratch it. I used black insulation tape to tape every thing up and alot of newspapers. I sanded the dash and the shifter and then painted it with upholstery paint, the rest of the stuff, like the seats are leather. I only paid $100 to get the rear seats done! Which I think is a great deal. Thanks for your honest opionions! I have seen alot of your cars and know I have alot of compettion on the looks catagory.

Hey we might have to hook up some time soon. I am curious how those door panels line up with the dash and also how they securely attach to the door without those 2 long screw in it.

Which side of SA are ya on?

I asked this question about TA door panels a few days ago.

Well, although I am from San Antonio(South Side) I am currently stationed at Ft.Polk LA, sorry.

Wow, since I placed this link I have droped from a 5 star car to a 4 star car. From what I get is this from the votes I have recieved from camaroZ28.com and sounddomain.com people on this site seem to like Camaros to be fast only throwing all their money in the engine or in most cases on wheels, or things that make their car look like an SS or something along the lines having their Camaro looking like a factory Z28 or SS with aftermarket wheels and a factory interior, their interiors get pretty much no attention, with only carbon fiber and in many cases fake carbon fiber being the only exceptable thing(basically name brand stuff) While on a site such as soundomain.com attention to detail is more important such as clarity and diffrentiality. Cars are rated not by the engine, but instead by a paint job or interior work which includes stereo equipment and cosmetics. My opionion is that if my car wasnt a Z28 and if it were a V-6, it would probably have been made fun of by many on this site, I remember when I use to see people say TransAm doors shouldnt be put in a camaro at all, and painting the interior or even having it redone with real leather in colors such as red or white was rice, so I guess things are finally changing, this is probably happening to people who finally wore their upholstery out and can't seem to find it wise to spend so much money on factory stuff and finally relizing that for the same or less money they can get aftermarket seats for example such as my Corbeaus, which is cool,or instead get the Ta door panels which in my opionion look better. I used to be only into racing but since I have been stationed here in Ft.Polk there is no one to race and fixing the engine up is uselesss since the speed limits here on post are rarely over 25mph and there is no major expressway around, so 55mph is driving fast around here. I hope i don't offend anyone by my statement it is just what I am guessing by looking at my votes on sounddomain.com As asked by some, yes I really like my car simply becuz it is diffrent, I know I will never accidently put my key into another persons Camaro thinking it was my car, and I love it when people get into my car and actually think it is some kind of special edition. My interior use to be tan,lol ok I will end my long thesis and I am going to Auto Zone to go buy some Fuzzy Dice, and a skull shifter **** with glowing eyes.

Well first off you misenterpreted what everyone said. they do like your car and noone here would make fun of it for being a V6.

Some of our most prominent and favorite people on this board on V6's or dont even own an f-body at all.

I think most people just did not like the bottom stripes and other various small things.

You asked for peoples opinions and they told you exactly what they thought, honestly.

Many people like alot of your mods, door panels, wheels, steering wheel, interior etc. They just pointed out the things they thought detracted from the car as well.

So if you cant take critiscism then i dont know what to tell you. But everyone here has made a fair unbiased decision on your car with many compliments throughout the post. yet all you seem to see is the negative things they posted.

So it comes down to everyone likes your car, but you are taking this out of context.

I would also like to add...

for the most part, the responses I've read praise you for what you've done with your car. But you also got to think that different people have difference preferences and not everyone will like what you've done with your car. But as long as you think you're car looks good, that's all that matters. I still you've done a commendable job with your car.

Man I know they said good things, and I am not mad, I just wish the votes were the same, the votes I recieved said diffrent from the comments. The votes say ugly car while the comments say cool car. Wich is cool I dont think I have a 5 star car anywayz, it is more realistiic now, a 5 star car in my opinion is a lamborgini! I have had great conversations with many who have given me comments. I threw in the fuzzy dice thing to hopefully give a smile to some after my guestimation. Honestly even though I am use to the strips, I dont think they are all that but my paint is still good and not fading so I don't have money to paint it, you guys wanna contribute some paintjob money? lol I think in reality my car is atmost 3 stars.
