Making More Fuel Rail Covers

Here are some pics of the fuel rail covers that I made for myself and ended up making about 20 or so sets for some members here on this board as well. There has been a number of people wondering if I was going to make anymore. I have decided that I will make a few more sets of these if there are enough people that still want them.

Please email me if you are interested in them....They will fit 94-97 LT1's with little or no modifications. They are made of a high quality aluminum and do not require any hardware. They come bare aluminum so that you can customize with polishing, painting or decals however you wish.

Please email me, if you are interested.

Sorry forgot to post the price... They are $65.00 shipped

Thanks,

Aaron

I wouldn't even know where to begin on a set for the LS1, I think in order to look good they need to have a some rounded shape to them....seems like it would difficult with metal

Hey guys I bought a set from him and can vouch for him FULLY! A great guy to deal with and very good quality pieces.... Unfortunately I bought an SS hood and ram-air box before installing the FR covers and I'm not sure they will quite fit with the air box in the way though. Mine are painted just like these

but I really like the polished w/ '69 Z/28 emblems too..... especially since they are the badges I put on my car!

Have you had a chance to try a set of these on an SS car for fitment, Aaron ????

Hey there.....Thanks for the compliments...glad you liked the covers.

I have not tried them personally, but have looked closely at a couple of cars with the SS option and my belief is that they will fit, but the driver's side cover will pretty much be hidden, the passenger side is well exposed. In fact I have an extra passenger side piece that I was going to give to a friend that has an SS for him to use since you really don't need the other one.

Cheesee48 -

I have gotten your message and are assuming that you want a set. As soon as I get a timeframe for when they will be available, I will add it to this post and you guys can start sending in your funds.

Thanks,

Aaron

Hey cheif..your not raising the eyebrow on the "biz practice" are you...I meant as not stealing our money..
If you remember he was not doing this for profit at all he showed these covers to us that he did himself..we got excited and had him search for a metalshop that would do this...alot of people got on his case about making some for there cars..so he took the time out to find a shop. Never had to do it but did and the $$$ involeved i the expense in making them...thats it..
I mean 65 for metal ones compared to 40 for plastic GM ones..not a bad trade off..SHIPPED..so not stepping on the toes but just trying to give a good word to someone that tok the time out of their day to help us do something diffrent to our cars..for no profit..as in his last go around..he did the template and work on it so hes just extending the service of his template thats all..
as I would hope..
Biz practice in as he kept me informed when they were done and shipped and even shipped them when my bank didnt release the $$ to him for some reason..but he gave me no hassle..thats what I mean good Biz practice
Dont want to get anyone in trouble!
Have a good one!

Jason D,

Just wanted to let you know, that I do not have any problem if you feel that this is questionable material for posting here. It has been questioned before and I agree that it is somewhat of a grey area. So if you feel you have to lockdown....that is OK....

The previous post is pretty close to reality. I do not have a business or plan on becoming a business. I orchestrated this strictly to help out some fellow board members....well that and I think it is cool to have something that I designed on other people's cars. Just to make sure that everything is out in the clear, I do make a small profit on these covers, but the intent was to cover my time and expenses as well as help out with the risk involved if no body bought any or all of them. I made 26 sets the first time and sold (24) of them, kept (1) set for myself and lost one set in the mail to a member. I am now planning on making an additional (15) sets because of demand and calling it good.

Thanks,

Aaron
