Luks headlight bulb question

Okay guys, I am at a quandary. Here are two light bulbs. Both can have the same wattage of 80W. The first is advertised at 4000K. The second doesn't advertise the output. Does anyone know what the output is? And, what is the difference to have a $20 difference in price?

Re: Luks headlight bulb question

The non-tinted bulb will have the same look as stock halogens, but will be much brighter. Stock bulbs are 55w, those are 80w. I have these bulbs.

The blue tinted bulbs are also 80w, but will give off less output than the clear 80w. If you want color and not output, go with these.

I used to be fine with 80w tinted, but now I won't run any tinted bulbs unless they are 100w. The tint takes away too much light output, for me at least.

I am not interested in whether the bulb puts out a blue tint or not, I can't see the color when I am driving. My concern is being able to see when I am driving. I appreciate your input. I will more than likely go with the clear 80W.
Also, will the 100W high beams be okay with the stock wiring?

Usually it's due to Color / Xenon / Krypton gas...

If you don't care about color output, DEFINATELY go with the non-tinted 80w - 100w bulb.

You'll be very pleased with the 80w Luks in place of the stock bulbs.

I'm using them right now since I've soured a bit on tinted bulbs.

100w is too much for stock wiring....you need the upgraded harness.

and realize that the one link you sent is for
"Sold individually. If a pair is needed purchase 2."

the other
"9006 Twinpak"

i currently have the "9006 OEM HALOGEN BULB" in my 99z, the 80w versions, running on an upgraded harness.
they have similar color to stock, and are reasonably brighter on the road. i'd say for the cost you can afford to not be happy with them.

when i get the $$ i may try for the whole Luks halogen series. 9005s, 9006s and they even have the 885s for my fogs. that way they are all the same color.
some say the halogens make things crisper on the road since they are more white than yellowish like stock.
