I hate the stock hood on my car and I'm just about ready to replace it. I found a few older threads with some info but they were from the beginning of last year. The car is a 95 Trans Am, black and tinted out, stainless emblems and soon to have some chrome zr1's also.

What do you guys think is the best looking hood for an lt1 trans am?

WS6 hood, what else? It's the only decent hood out there for the LT1 T/A cars in my opinion

 

Ditto, i think i'd personally just get a 98+ front end and put it on there with a WS6 hood.

 

just go to the VFN website, they have hoods, fenders, etc... for your year of car. I bought the 4" ram air style for the 93-97 Trans am after I sold my factory ram air hood, and I like it! about the only thing I ever notice on it is when I am cruising really fast (like over 132), the rear of the hood kinda bows down a bit

 

what hoods can be used for a real ram air system & which ones are for looks only?
