So I bought a 1998 ws6 parts car with intentions of swapping out my front clip. Started into it today. The 98 is fairly rusted and when I took the front bumper off I found this rusty piece. It's located. Between the fender and front bumper where the two body panels meet. Any ideas if this is the same on my 97? If it's not does anyone know a part number or have any ideas where I can find a left and right side? Thanks for the help!

I don't think so for the 93-97 camaro there was not an extra bracket,but for the 98-02 there was an extra bracket ,I think should be used to do the coversion,firebird ta there probley the same it looks the same as what I am getting together to do my conversion
