lmao...I was waiting for someone to chime in with that.

I agree with TransAmG2 if you get a hood, get the Warbird. IMO it looks better then anything Suncoast Creations makes . It is a little cheaper too.

Does anyone here have a hood from these guys?:

http://www.carhoods.com/C-Photo/C-Photo-512x.htm

It looks VERY similar to the Warbird hood, but it seems like the ram air openings are just a hair farther back on this one..... For some reason, I'm liking the looks of the Ram Air II hood from carhoods.com a tiny bit better than the Warbird. However, the Warbird has grilles already installed for the same price. My choice is definitely narrowed down to these two; they're the baddest Firebird hoods out there IMO. What do y'all think?

I agree. I plan on going with the Ram Air II hood because it just looks like it flows better with the lines of the LT1 body with the openings set further back. The only thing I don't like about it is that it isn't already cut out so that it can be made functional. That's kindof a pain in the ***. But yea, I would go with the Ram Air II. Looks better. Nothing against the Warbird, looks bad *** too.

So how much do you think it cost all together? With the hood, paint, and everything. And what do you mean about the fit hood? If you'd like, you can email me the pics. I'm pretty interested in seeing how it looks. I plan on getting one soon also.

Hood $550.
FedX $106
Paint $300.
Fit hood as there is very little adjustment in the F-body hood mounting and the bolt holes where/are off about 1/4-3/16", also some bubbles or mold marks need to be preped out. $150.
Total: $ 1106.

Well, I found a different company (I think) that makes a '98-02 style Firebird Ram Air hood. Here it is:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33646

I posted a new thread to see if anyone had it, but no one seemed to respond, so I thought I'd try a different tact. The description of the hood says that the ram air is non-funtional nor can it be made functional. I just want the look of the ram air hood myself because I already have a CAI. For $399, it seems like an all right deal if it's a quality product. What do you guys think?

I'm glad that yours turned out so awesome. I was tossing around the idea of getting one, so I plunked down the $$ to get an Outlaw Warbird too. I should have mine in a couple weeks. Just curious, what was the timeframe from order to delivery for your hood?

It's been over a month since I ordered my Outlaw Warbird hood. I've heard Roger at US Exotics is an awesome guy to deal with, but I haven't heard anything from them about my hood. I've already paid for it and everything, I'm just waiting for it to come in. I emailed him a few days ago asking him if they shipped it yet and I have yet to hear anything. I'm gettin kinda frustrated, but I've heard too many good things. I won't get too mad just yet. He better email me or something soon though.
