I was wondering if there are any hoods similar looking to the LS1 WS6 Model RAM AIR Hoods? Or anything that looks freakin amazing... I freakin love the ram air hood on the LS1 Models... so god damn much. But I found a pretty damn good deal on a LT1 so I was hoping if there is a substitute for the hood... Thanks

Wow, you really love them eh? Anyhoo, yea there are some hoods for the LT1 that look very similiar to the LS1 WS6 hoods. I'm getting one pretty soon actually. You can get them from a lot of different places. There are a few different kinds that look similar, you just have to find the one you like the best. I think I'm going with the Ram Air II from US Body Source. Check Brents 4th Gen Appearance page in the hood section. It will show you pics of hoods and where to get them. Aren't these all for the LS1 Models? 98-02?

Yo, some are LS1's and some are LT1's. Mostly LT1's though. Can you not tell the difference between the two?

Not really... Its a picture of the hood, how can I tell if the hood is supposed to be for the LS1?

There is a HUGE difference between the front end of an LS1 and the front end of a LT1. There should be a bunch of different pics of hoods on his webpage.

The Suncoast Raptor Hood... do they make them for the LS1? I know they make them for the LT1, but if they don't make them for the LS1, than I know for sure which hood to get... and I still can't really figure the total difference between the two. Sorry man

It's okay, just givin u a hard time. But no, the Raptor hood is for the LS1 only. They don't make Raptor hoods for the LT1 I don't think. There are Warbird hoods for the Lt1's which are freakin awesome. Here is a LT1 with a Warbird hood. click

Thanks. The Raptor hood thats on Suncoast creations is for a LS1. You can buy the Warbird hood from Roger at US Exotics LTD. Just email him at USEXOTICSLTD@aol.com. He has ebay auctions every once in a while, but you will just have to email him for more info. I heard his hoods are awesome and he is a great guy to work with.

 

Like I said, email Roger at USEXOTICSLTD@aol.com. He makes them. He sells them for $550.
