no one makes an aftermarket ls1 ss hood to fit lt1s? damn

Look at the two hoods closely, there are not the same at all. Your gonna have to get the 93-97 hood. the ram air scoop is not that much different.

The Lt1 ss hood is boxy and the ls1 ss hood is round and smooth.

The same way with the Ultra Z hood IMO...reason being - the LT1 is boxy and the LS1 is round and smooth. I like the boxy look myself.

Usually what ever car you own you will like the best. I have had both and prefer the round smooth look. A lt1 ss hood would look nice on your car though

If you look closely at the headlight areas of the LS1 hoods they are raised to match the flush LS1 style headlights that aren't there on an LT1 car. I thought about it too but thought it would look funny without the headlights to match... SOOO I bought a used SLP SS hood/airbox for my car. Maybe you could get one of our resident Photoshop Experts hook you up with a view....
