what mod/s are needed to install an LS1 M6 center console in an LT1? I read whre someone needed to fab something for fitment but wasnt really sure.

There is an install guide. No fabbing is required to make it fit. There will be a decent sized gap between the console and the dash after its installed. People have tried to fab up something to go in there and fill the gap. I personally made a CD holder to go in there, but then i put a TA dash in my car and now the gap is gone. PS its not an LS1 console because 97 camaros got them first.

 

ls1 console is easier than typing the last of the lt1 consoles that looks like all the ls1 consoles
