ls1 headlights getting "foggy"

not foggy as in condensation foggy....

i mean the feel like they are getting scuffed up, i assume from road debris. maybe from washing.

is there any way to maybe polish them up so that they are nice and crystal clear again?

just a thought...i'll see if i can snap a pic sometime

I sprayed WD-40 on a cotton washcloth and polished the headlights on my wifes 97 Ford Taurus with it and it removed all that yellow, dull oxidization and made them nice and clear again.
