Unhappy Lower fender gap

I stopped by Midas on the way home tonight to have a rattle found,
Turned out to be this ring on the O2 sensor . Anyway,
When the mechanic lowerd my car the lower fender between the door and the tire now has this gap of about 1/4".
I see that where the fender attaches to the floor pan is crushed
Can I bend this back over without snapping off the flange at the bottom of the fender?

Re: Lower fender gap

yes you can, that is a comman problem. just be carefull. in the event that it does snap-off, it can be fixed realatively easy, just reweld it back on. and for future reasons tell anyone who might be jacking your car up to mind the jack points and not jack on that thin peace of metal... lol
