location and application of z28 badges

So I took the SS badges off my Z the day I bought it...I have a pair of z28 badges for the sides now. Two questions 1) where exactly do they go on the fender and 2) what is the best glue/tape to use? thanks

I took off my z28 emblems and put on some custom ones, but they go just above the bumper guard if you still have them.

I do have a question though...why did you take off SS emblems and replace them w/ z28 ones?

This is the location of the stock emblems, and 3M double sided industrial tape does a wonderful job of keeping these emblems attached.

Is that car a custom color? It can't tell in that pic if it's teal or not.

this z28 i got has an ss hood and nothing else...salad shooters and all. the owner decided he wanted cheap looking silver ss badges on the sides and even left the stock z28 badge on the back. I'm sorta going the opposite way...putting stock badges back on with my zr1's.

I really like those 383 badges! at first glance they look like the stock z28 badges until you really look and read them.

I'll try the 3M tape. it looks like the badge is centered from the door gap to the edge of the fender...what is the distance from bumper guard (which I don't have, but the ridge is there to go by) thanks!

Did you use the badges with the pin that clips on the other side, or double-sided tape? I would like to do this to mine eventually but I had a body shop guy tell me the pin-style would be the best because it iw permanent...but he is kind of old school.

Um, I'm not drilling holes in my fenders. If 3Mtape was good enough for GM it's good enough for me.
