a little fun in photoshop today

I didn't have much design work to do today, and needed to do something creative or I'd go nuts. So I decided to play around in photoshop. What do you think of this stripe design?

For fun, I did a couple of variations for those who don't like purple cars.
dark blue with white stripe

silver with black stripe

I like the chrome too.

I'm not sure what the real life size would be. I was just trying to figure out something unique that would compliment the body. Unfortunately... when I look at it, the car would look better without the stripe!

I still love that purple but the stripe looks generic I think the Dick Harrell stripe is perfect for the car I've also tried to come up with a different stripe for the side but nothing worth mentioning . That stripe on the silver camaro looks nbm I like that combo too.

I love his car, and... now that I look at it... I realize I basically copied his side decal design

that purple camaro looks damn good. Never thought I would like that color on a camaro, but its not that bad at all.

The original color of that car was actually polo green metallic. I made it purple in Photoshop a year or so ago after spending a few hours on it (couldn't find a really nice picture of a BPM Z28, so made my own). The color change is pretty detailed honestly, there's 4 layers of it to give it a realistic look.

Here's the way it looks in real life. I love the stance. It was owned by a guy named Chad on this message board but he sold it for a G8 GT.

Photobucket did a crappy job resizing that pic, so excuse the jagged lines.

If I had a BPM Z/28 I'd def leave it all one color, neat idea for the stripe though. It would look nice combined with a hockey stripe IMO.

The more I look at it, the more I don't like it.

If I ever get a BPM Z28 and want to advertise my business, I'll probably just design a windshield decal with the web address instead of side decals.
