Lightweight Carpet re-installation

Anyone ever done this? I met some LS1 guys that have bought some lightweight carpet and had it installed I was just wondering what all is involved in this (how do you secure it to the frame etc). I also took out my speakers and was wondering how to cover these holes as well. Anyone done anything like this?

Re: Lightweight Carpet re-installation

I replaced the carpet in my car..the seat and seat belt brackets help hold it in place- other than that it just lays in place.

If it doesn't conform or lay properly in some areas a garment steamer would probably help it- at least its the way they do it on tv...
