Light guys: Hella or Pilot?

I am buying fog lights(driving lights) for my beater Grand Am since my stock housings melted.

I have two options. Hella or Pilot. Which brand is better?

Hella (blue ring only) -> http://www.pfyc.com/store/merchant.m...ory_Code=GAEXT

Pilot (7 color ring) ->

For those prices, get the Hella's.
Unless you just want the more colors.

I don't think Pilot is that bad of a light. I have never had any problem with them, and I even have them on my ATV. Show me a Camaro or Trans Am that takes more abuse than it everytime it goes out to drive, and maybe I will retract my statement that Pilot's are very good lights.

But - Hella's are IMO the best lighting brand out there - I especially like them over Priced Insane And only Average lights. (My deepest apologies to all of you PIAA freaks who think they are the best thing since sliced bread, honest).

The ones that are made by pilot will not fit, they are sold at autozone and are 5.25 inches. If you go to pep boys they have the other ones which are 4.5 inches.

Pilot Navigator Cyber whites w/ 7 led ring. They run about $60 and you will need alot of extra wire and time. I do have a write up if you need it.

Thank you for the links. How long did you have them on? Some Grand am guys (grandamgt.com) say some colors wont work after a while?

Are the stock Grand am fogs the same as the firebird fogs?

another note, it looks like the orange is not as bright? Is it just the pics?

Also there are no PepBoys within 50 miles of me. Do you have a pert number for them? They have free shipping on there web site

I only have AutoZone, PartsAmerica and NAPA near me.

The orange is really the leds having to blend the colors. Some of the colors are close to the natural color and others with have a shades of it or my camera contrast. Well I am at school now but when i get home I will find the box and post the #. I believe the Grand Am's fogs are 4 inch but im not really sure. The fog have been on the car about 2-3 months with no problems. I just wish the colors were better in a way.
