To the kids: We all realize that The Fast and The Furious was a smash hit. One day though, people will realize that there really is a point when your car can have too many vents, scoops and pieces of aluminum bracing bolted onto it.
If my car isn't going to be MINE until I make it look like it was in a head on collision with a Pep Boys clearance rack, then I guess it never will be "MINE". LMFAO.
So yeah, until that happens, have fun with your exciting Transformer looking rice era inspired car that gets overlooked by the guys that actually have taste.
There's many reasons you never see high end cars plastered with all kinds of extra wings, flame decals, neon gauges, body kits, side skirts and bumpers... But the biggest reason of them all is probably because they aren't owned by kids that have no sense of class or taste.

Let's totally overlook the fact that he's molding them in and doing a hell of a lot more work than just buying side skirts.

You must live a sheltered life, if you went out more and went to car shows more, you'd realize that seeing the same Camaros and Firebirds with the exact same mods (An SS hood with TT2s or Y2k rims, lately it's the C6 rims.., SS spoiler, etc) gets quite boring. It's people that customize that actually bring renewed excitement to the car shows. Example: How big of a crowd does the Dick Harrel Camaro get? It can be taken both ways "Well look at that engine!" but most will immediately notice "WOW! Look at those fenders! Look at that hood! Look at that side stripe! Look at how the front bumper is customized!"
I guess the Dick Harrel is rice then because the appearance is highly customized.

You probably think that the ricers invented neons too...
Oh yeah, and to answer your final question about why they don't do it on "high-end" cars -- it's simple. You buy a high end vehicle like the Big Dick (what I nicknamed the Dick Harrel Camaro) and you already have the wide-body bodykit, the carbon fiber-look side horizontal decal, aftermarket rims, spoiler, and all the good appearance goodies on it too.

Oh yes, because those of us that are mature enough to have an open mind and accept that people want to customize our cars, instead of having an elitist snob attitude against everyone that does something different to their car, that makes us kids and relates us to The Fast and The Furious. For god sakes man, granted you might not like it, but give some credit where credit is due. This guy has done some amazing high quality body work, if you can't acknowledge that then it just shows that you're blatantly making assumptions due to your own personal grudge against customized Camaros, instead of opening your eyes and actually looking at the pictures here and THEN making the opinion based on what you see.

Flame decals? Dude, have you ever went to a car show? Have you ever looked at how many flame jobs are on classic 30's hotrods? Granted, the older generation didn't have "body kits." You're right. Instead, they used entire body panels from entirely different cars and hodge podged the panels to their own car to make their OWN bodykits. Huh, go figure, the older generation does all the same things that the "younger generation" does, but since the Fast and the Furious came out, it's now rice. You probably think that the ricers invented neons too...

Oh boy... all it takes is someone who likes body kits to see a negative opinion about a body kit and they get their panties in a wad.
I gave my opinion. I backed up my opinion what else do you want? I didn't flame him. Just because I don't want a body kit or bumpers on my car doesn't mean I have to shut up. The only thing different about my car outside is the clear turn signals in the front. Later I will probably get wheels but other then that I am happy with my 94 camaro's look without a body kit or bumpers.
I have done my fair share of bodywork thank you. I was 17 and put an 82 camaro hood, fenders and nose on my 89 camaro that I bought from my brother in law. I did this cause I liked the look of the Z bodywork and the RS front was wrecked. It was a lot of work and it took me weeks to do it being an amature. I can sympathize with how much the dudes working on this car but all I said is how I hate seeing the SS bodywork come off of the SS.

Unless you're prepared to be flamed do not posts pictures of you butchering your otherwise good looking f-body with Obscene body kits which have no aerodynamic advantages to your vehicle, huge rear wings on a relatively stock car, or wheels that weight more than your engine block.
