Leather Seat is Torn.. How Much To Fix??
I'm sure everyone in here who has an F-Body with leather seats know that they are infamous for tearing. Especially on the driver side where you get in and out all of the time. Anyone actually had theirs fixed? If so, how much did it cost?? I would like to take mine to a car upholstery place and get it fixed soon but would like to know about how much it would cost. Let me know if any of you guys have done this and what all you had fixed and how much it cost. Thanks in advance.
I would recommend recovering them with a set of seat covers from Katzkins. These fit just like the factorys original leatherand are available in all the standard colors as well as suedes and specialty colors.
They are way cheaper im sure than getting one new cover from the dealer. Feel free to give me a call if you need a price on them.

well my dad sat down in his f-150 with a knife in his back pocket and gouged the seat with it leaving a nice tear in the seat. he brought it to the ford dealership and they fixed it for like 25 bux. hope this helps you some.

BTW, I like your car. Looks familiar. Even have the same shifter ****.
How much did you get those honeycomb lights for and where? I want those for mine but don't want to pay out the butt. Let me know if you got a good deal on them.

Hmm. Did the warranty have anything to do with it being so cheap? It just doesn't sound right it being only $25 bucks. ESPECIALLY, for a Ford product.
