Ok so i think my next appearance mod is gonna be the leather interior swap. My question is can i use trans am leather seats(back and front)? if so is this a simple swap or is there modification involved? As for the door panels i want the camaro panels becuase i dont want the hastle of the modifications involve for the trans am ones.

 

The seats are an easy swap....unbolt yours and bolt the T/A seats up.The door panels really aren't that bad.I think Brent has a pretty good writeup of what it takes to make them work properly.

 

I've read that the TA seat have a lot more support than Camaro seats...............pre 97 Camaro anyhow.....

Should be a simple switch.

 

I guy on the board did this before...I think his username was something like xsaint69x or something like that (he did the entire swap, looked damn good too). I know the seats will fit right in and the door panels aren't even that hard. Brent has a page on his website showing how to put firebird doors into a camaro.

 

i swapped my leather seats out from a 96 Z28 to my current camaro, u basically just unbolt the seats and bolt in the other ones.

what did you do about the door panels? and the headliner

 

if i remember right i had to take the door panels off to swith out the leather parts. u wanna switch the headliner??

 

yeah because im gonna get black leather and i dont want black seats,gray headliner, and gray carpet

 

ahh ic, i lucked out and had black headliner and carpet, carpet should be easy to do but not sure about the headliner
