I am thinking about replacing the cloth interior to two tone leather (gray and orange). I live in the desert and am wondering if anyone who lives where is it HOT has regretted buying leather? Anyone? What do ya think?

 

well i don't live in the desert, but I have driven there, and I love my leather, I would never trade it, In the summer I leave my top down so the sun has ample time to heat the seats up, and its not to bad. I think its more bothersome for me in the winter when the seats are frozen, and they don't like to move, it puts wear and tear on them pretty bad. leather looks so much better, get them, you'll love them. I think those little holes they have in the seats keep the heat down when your driving with the air on

i wouldn't get leather in the desert. it always sticks to you and it doesn't absorb any sweat. the colors sound cool though.

My Camaro doesn't have leather but my fiancé's Trans Am does. Once we went out to the lake at like 8am. We left at 4 and when I sat down w/ my shirt off it burned the crap outa my lower back. I jumped up and my girl said there was a light red mark on my back. Her leather is black and so is her car, so I guess I was asking for it ^_^ I just put my shirt on, sat down and it was ok. But, of all the cars in the club that have leather, only black has been too hot to sit in for me.
