I got pulled over last weekend for not having a front license plate on. Ive been driving without one since i was 16 and last week was the first time i had ever been pulled over for it. AND of course i had a half drank case sitting in my passenger seat (im 18..) but i got lucky and the guy made me dump em out and he sent me home

i'd say you should feel pretty lucky you didn't get an MIP.

Haha. I know that feeling. 2 acres to mow pisses me off twice a month also.

I used to just put my license plate in the front window with two suction cups. I also printed out a copy of the law that states that the license shall be visible from the front (makes no mention of being affixed to the front) to hand to the officer if he gave me grief. One cop told me and my friend in front of me (pulled both us over for no front plate but both were in the front windshield) that even though the law was written that way it wasn't meant that way. My buddy responded "Then ammend the law or back off us...." Yea, he got a ticket.....

Ouch, that sucks. My girlfriend bought her Solstice from a dealer in NY and we told them numerous times not to put the front plate on. Turns out they had to because they can get fined hardcore for not installing the bracket.

The front plate on the car in this thread looks pretty good.

Much better than the stock bracket. I think I'm going to try and get something like this, I think its the SLP bracket. I posted and asked where he got it, but I haven't heard back.

If AZ makes that a law, I will burn down the country.

i've often thought about just hammering a plate in the shape of the front of my TA's bumper so it doesn't look so gaudy out there perched on the car like a hood ornament, maybe if I get new plates, but honestly cops haven't bugged me in years since i got two no front plate tickets a while back

Such states really **** off the other states, because their reasoning for the front plates is severely put into question, and that the last thing a cop wants, to be confronted with the fact that they are lying through their teeth trying to justify something that is purely to harass people and make money.

Feel happy. I have a little less than 2 acres that is on mostly hill that I have to mow at least once a week because the city I live near are all ****** and if your grass is taller than they like they will come out and cut it for you then charge you crazy fees. (And I do not even live in the city that does it, but in the township next to it.

cops aim their radar guns at the front plate since most vehicles dont have chrome front bumpers anymore...they need a good reflective surface usually...
