Im not gonna worry about the rims right now. Im keeping the tail lights...but ya, I have to have the headlights and behind the grill painted black. Im gonna do them gloss black, not the stock matt black.

Looks good. If it were mine, I would pick one or the other as far as the stripes are concerned; just the hockey stripes or just the racing stripes.

Just keep it clean how it is and that will matter the most.

Front License plate bracket?

I've been looking for a license plate bracket to replace the cheap looking plastic stock one. Is that the SLP one that you have? It looks good with that front grill. How does it mount? The SLP website didn't have a pic of it installed on an LT1 frontend that I could find.

Oh, and I've always kinda liked the salad shooters, I still have them on my car, maybe I'm weird, but it seems like everyone has put on the ZR1 or other Corvette wheels, and the salad shooters if they are well kept seem less "generic" than all those clones out there.

I used to have a friend that had a Corvette and called my Camaro a Vette wanna be, so that may have biased my opinion!

YES!! That is the SLP front plate bracket. It bolts on from underneath but I also attached it through the grille and it looks great. I have a new front air dam/fascia (WHATEVER!) waiting for me in Alabama and it has to be altered for the SLP front bracket. I'm gonna get it in a week and a bit and once its done and installed I'll post more pics.

Cool, I think I'll order one, I got pulled over a few months ago for no front plate (after 10 years without one).

It hasn't been altered yet. Its still new in the box. The new front spoiler is about 2" thick and won't fit between the front plate holder and the bumper cover so a piece has to be trimmed out of the top of the spoiler where its attached to the bumper so it clears the front plate holder. Its tough to explain. In a few weeks I'll have pictures up. Today I'm taking the tail light cover off to go get painted.

Cool, I think I follow you. You are adding a ground effect piece to the front below where the bracket bolts on so you have to trim it to fit. Sounds good, keep the pictures coming!

I think I'm going to plagiarize your front end. I like the grill and plate bracket, and I'm also thinking about stripes like yours for the hood and rear. I'm probably not going to do the hockey stripes though.

You got it, I have to trim around it to fit the plate bracket. I'm gonna get my body guy to do it so its done right. Go for it dude, use whatever ideas ya see that ya like. I got the grill off Ebay for like $20 and its perfect. I'll send pics of what I did with the SLP license plate bracket. I'll have new pics ready to go soon. The tail light panel is in for painting now. I should have it back on Friday. As soon as I do I'm putting Brent's Patriotic decal/layovers on the tail panel. They are gonna look KILLER! I can't wait!

I took a close up of the license plate bracket from the top so y'all can see what I did to attach it to the grill. If ya have any questions about the SLP plate bracket PM or email me.

Looking good.

I've gone back and forth over the years on the black tail panel (Berger Panel). I think I'm going to do what someone else said that they did and pick one up from a junk yard and paint it black so I can switch back in a few years if I decided I don't like it.

I sent you a pm with a question on the bracket.

Thanks for the pics of the bracket.
