Until the actual kit is made, there are no Lamborghini doors. Right now, just "b-u-t-t-e-r-f-l-y" as rendered by that picture featured on the site. It will take more than a simple hinge conversion kit and $3000 to pull off a true scissors door. Don't get me wrong, the butterfly is a nice step in that direction, but still not what most of us who envisioned such a mod over the years truly want. It will still be great to see some of you get this accomplished and be the first one's on the block. This will only become more common as the kits begin to be more plentiful and more people recognize it's possibilities from seeing your cars with these doors.

Still, there is a good reason why this true scissors conversion Mustang Cobra cost $10,000 to accomplish.

Yea, that is going to account for part of it. But what I was getting at is the labor and fabrication needed to get the door to come out and then up in the Mustang is much more complex (ie. will cost more ). Not to mention the Mustang door can still open like stock if need be.

True, you are talking the cream of the crop install though, most people I thhink would be happy with the basic install. I know before I spend any money on something like that I better have a 421 LT 1 in my Z28 first.
