You wouldn't by any chance be asian, would you?

I know it's a stereotype, but it's real. Please don't rice out your F-body.

Try searching this forum, you'll find some threads on it. You can get them, but they're not cheap.

One of the current threads in the Appearnace forum has a link to a cardomain site where the owner has lambo doors on his Camaro. Maybe check it out and get in contact with him.

Re: Lambo door kit for F-bodies????

yes.. the search feature is your best friend.. they even made it very accessable on the upper right hand corner of the thread listing.. Just type the word, "lambo"

Here's a thread: http://web.camaross.com/forums/showt...ighlight=lambo

Its possible, but the trick would be to get all the little details right to make it look good. IMO, with our long doors, it would make life easier.

Lot of poeple think its sacriligious if your car looks slightly out of place from al the other Camaro's out there.. Although my Z28 is just about your most common stock black look out there too..

I duno about you, but I see plenty of people from all races ricing out rides now.. Its not just an Asian thing. I mean, if you want to argue about it, all the ground effects, hood stripes, scoops, spoilers were done in the "good 'ol" muscle car days too.

I'm white, been white all my life, im montana breed white. It's not ricing it out, god damn that just pisses me off more than anything else when people say the word "rice". I am going to fix up my car the way i like it i don't give a shiot if you like it or not, its for me to enjoy not you.

To all the others who posted positive comments or helpful comments thanks!
I was just looking for a kit that was just made strictly for the f-body because the ones i've seen so far are "universal" and i don't want something that is not made to work specifically for my car. Thanx for the help.

Re: Lambo door kit for F-bodies????

I'm neither for or against Lambo doors. I think thier cool for a show car or vert but other than that they cost way to much. Let's be serious, look at what youre getting for the outrages price. It may cost mabey $200 for all the parts needed. What's the F'in deal about if he's Asian or not just because he is doing what he wants to do with a car he owns using parts he paid for? You idiots are such sheep. If everyone stuck to the norm then every camaro would look exactly the same. Nobody in this section ever has anything nice to say. Everything is rice these days. That word is used way to much. People really need to get over themselves.

Re: Lambo door kit for F-bodies????

one of the links someone left on this forum directed me to a $900 lambo door kit specifically for F-bodies. Thanks...im sure i could spend it "better" on my motor but i don't want to get started with that cuz then i get into the big money project that will never end.

Re: Lambo door kit for F-bodies????

appearance projects dont end too soon or cheaply either but i think lambo doors if not for show just for simplicity of getting out of these cars in a tight spot! lol if only they made a kit where the door actually came straight up instead of having to lean out so far =/ i could see it actually making it HARDER to get out in some situations because of how they have to swing out a certain distance or lock you in more unless you can slide underneath the door

I would reconsider this. I have a friend with a Saleen Mustang that got a Lambo kit. The doors need to be closed with precision or some sections of your door will hit your car's body and chip paint.

I would really hate to see another guy ruin his ride with this. Again the biggest issue is long term use....rattling, alignment, paint chips. Yes, it does look good and turns heads, but you have to deal with getting in & out everytime.

Don't do it IMHO.

my cars no longer a daily driver, its just gonna be for show. so it probably won't seem much use...but thanks for the heads up, i never thought about re aligning it after a bit of use once installed.
