Kumho Ecsta Supra Tires
i think they are a decent tire. they only lasted me about a year and a half with NO trips to the track. i am however a pretty aggressive driver on the street. ive heard really good reviews about the Kumho MX tires. they are a grade above the ecsta supras and a little more expensive but well worth it from what ive heard. 190 sounds a bit expensive. mine were 630 with mounting, balancing, and the fee for disposing of my old tires of course mine were on 16" salad shooters.
I love my Kumho's. Before, I had Toyo Proxis. They didn't impress me much at all, and cost twice as much. If you are looking for a good tire in the rain as well as dry, you'll be happy. I don't care how much you baby the throttle, it doesn't take much to lose the rear on an F-body.
I've said it before and I'll say it again...my boss has them on his subaru imprezza...it's all wheel drive and he drives the hell out of it! Those tires have been on there over a year with 30 something thousand miles on them...and it looks like they're only at around 50% worn or so...maybe just a tad more. That isn't bad at all. The way he drive...for him to get 60k out of a set of tires...that's IMPRESSIVE!

I was one of the first people I know to put the Kumhos Supras on my car (275/40/17) about three years ago. Before them I had Goodyear GSCs.
1. I have almost 30,000 miles on the tires and there is very little wear on the fronts. The rears are mostly worn due to 2 seasons of drag racing.
2. They are wonderful in the rain.
3. They, like any other tire on an f-body, are only marginal in the snow. Get a beater car for the winter.
4. They hook well for drag racing.
5. They can't be beat for double the money.

I don't want to go though this agrument again but they are cheapo tires with cheap materials and cheap technology, they are 90% solid soft rubber so they wear okay and they have okay traction on dry surfaces but they are useless in the snow and not much better in rain, they're just like real drag tires. all these people saying that it's near impossible to not loose traction in an f-bod in the rain has never had good tires. And they don't look that good either. the people who are impressed with them lasting more than 30,000 miles, most tires do, infact there are much cheaper tires that will last longer, they just don't have the 160 speed rating, but anyone that drives that fast has no business driving.
