Question Katzkins Interior?

Guys/Gals,

I am considering upgrading my leather interior to a new custom color interior from Katzkins. Does anyone have any experience with them, their quality and also, any reccs for a good installer/interior shop in the Houston area? Here is a link to their website.

FYI - My T/A is red and where you see the black katzkins logo on the seat, I will have the screeming chicken firebird logo stiched. Let me know what you think?

I am considering going with the light grey color, with full red leather insert in the middle including headrest. Then red piping along the edges and to finish it up the screaming chicken logo stiched to below the headrest on the back and in black on the red leather.

Ok, guys have an update for you. Talked with Katzkins and it looks like they discontinued the 93-97 T/A due to different seat configs in each car and confusion among the consumers. The refered me to leatherseats.com and they are pretty pricy - $900 to get what I wanted from Katzkins for $600-700 and that's with out install. Anyone have a good place they recc to get some replacement seat covers for my car and where I can customize them - color and logo stiched? Also, what should I be looking at for price?

I might just be too optomistic here!!!

FYI - You guys with cars from 2000-2002 are in luck as they still carry yours, due to the fact you have no separate headrest.

You can probably go to a local auto upholstery shop and get them done for about that price.

You can get these seats (See picture) for $400. It is a Seat Upholstery kit sold on Hawks Third Gen. Seems to be a slightly cheaper route.

Maybe look into getting some 00-02 seats from someone parting out a car and get the Katskinz covers that you want for those.
