Just installed ANOTHER Neon...

Hey guys, check out the link in my sig. if you haven't already done so. I just figured out a way to wire up a neon blue license plate frame, and when I hit my brakes, it lights up, but not all at once. It starts in the middle, and works its way around the frame of the license plate. Looks BADASS at night. I'll post pics later.

i got a '95 camaro w/ red ground affects and 2 20" red neons on the inside...i didn't have much time so i wired the neons above the door...i'm looking for a better spot (dam* f-bodys, they're too rounded), i was thinking about putting them somewhere on the door...also, i don't kow where they are now because you can see the actual neon from the outside of the car, and one of my friends already broke one getting out of the car (where can i get the warranty on it, its streetglow)...do you know a good place to put them? i was thinking about getting those min 9" neons becuase they're so thin, but i already have 2 20".

Hey Wolf, I have 2 20" neons also. If you look between the seat and the door, there is a step molding. There are screws on that molding. From the front of the car, I used the second screw to attach my neon (In case I decide to move it later, I didn't drill any holes.) The seats are a little more than 20" So you don't EVER have to worry about someone stepping on them, because you'd really have to TRY to stick your foot between there. Look at the pics in my sig. If you look close enough, you'll see a glow on the seats (As always, looks better in person.) That's where I have my lights. It also lights up my door perfectly. I got one on drivers and passenger side. And if you have a neon with broken glass, Street glow will not warranty it. I tried already.

Oh, and as another idea, I have two 9" red neons on order. They should be in today. I am going to put those behind my heater vents, to make a slight red glow come from my vents. I'll post pics of that, and my license plate after I install. Later.

I looked at all your pics in your webpage (VERY nice, btw), and I didn't see any of your neons...Well, I saw some of your neons but they were between your seat and the center console, and some up towards the gas pedal...Is there anyway you could get a pic of where your neons are?

cool looking ride
just don't overdo it with neons
you don't want a x-mas tree on weeles.
abot your pic of the gauges with the different bulbs -
did you consider doing it with the 194 led lid bulbs
i have the same setup with the blue painted once for some time now. but they are simply not bright enough. i'll probably try to change it to led's next week.
