Just a few pics of the total overhall on my 95z

Well first lets start by saying shes a 1995 z28 that i paid 2500 for with 129k miles on her. The previous owner didnt treat her very good so I have pretty much been doing a complete restoration on her. Car has been completley stripped and both quarter panels had to be replaced. Here are a few pics after the new orange paint job. Please tell me what you think about the color.

Are you doing the work yourself; or is a shop doing it?

I plan on doing a complete color change on my car. I was told I should take the bumpers off, all the weather stripping etc myself to save a little money.

If a shop is painting what is it running you labor + materials?

Looks great, what was the original color? Just for fun, mine is purple...needs a good change!

Yeah im doing all the work myself.I am going to school for autobody. The car started out as green. I cant imagine paying someone for the paint job.I have spent over 10 months working on the car. To do a color change right you have to disassemble the whole car to get a show quality finish. As of right now i have probably spent over $3000 grand alone in parts and paint. I will def post some pics when im finished. I should have from the doors back finished by tuesday, then my last class is done so i will have to finish the front end at home. Thanks for the comments.
