Hey Jantzer does good work, hold off til you get your replacements. Give the man a chance to make things right before you go trashing what he does publicly like this!

He might do good work but should have never sent those covers out like that. Sounds like he is going to take care of it so that is good. I don't know Jantzer and have no idea of the quality of his work but it does sound like he has done some nice stuff from what I've read. So, a thread like this will just reinforce for him that he needs to make sure in the future that in order to keep his good name that he can't send out stuff that looks like that.

I placed my order on 2-2-05 and was told 2 weeks. He has replied to about one tenth of my emails and lied to me in each reply that he did send. You can see the quality of his work, the picture don't lie. I have ben very patient with him.

Re: Jantzer smooth valve covers

I read LS1Tech a lot, and I have been following this over there.

I don't intend to come off as mean about this, but this is a pretty crummy situation.

"[He] does good work."
Sorry, but no he doesn't. Look at the pictures. If he did good work, this thread would not exist.

Good luck, hope it gets worked out. I would be totally screwed if that happened to me...and it almost did but I found a local shop to do it for me.

I had some parts PC'd by Scott about a year ago. Got my alternator, accessory bracket, MAF ends and water pump all done in black powder coat. He did an exceptional job doing it, but it took him forever.

What he is saying about the oils contaminating the surface makes perfect sense, but those valvecovers should never made it back to the customer looking like that.
