What's up guys? Have a question and I'm hoping one of you can help me out. My friend's mom accidently threw away my driver side door panel a while back, which is kind of a good thing because it gives me the perfect excuse to get rid of the ugly light grey panels I have. Someone is offering to sell all there panels out of a 97 firebird and I wondering if I have any problems with it swapping into my car? I'm also looking into buying the carpet, but im pretty sure that would be the same thing. If any of you could help me out I'de greatly appreciate it. BTW the panels that are to be switched would be the door panels all the way back to the rear quaterpanel covers the hide the spare tire.

Don't know if you've picked 'em up yet, but I tried it, and the tabs lined up, but it won't fit because the two screws that by the door handle that attach the panel to the metal don't exist on the other panels. So I've got the TA panels in my garage. Also, the wiring for the mirro is different, but I believe Brent has a section for a conversion. I think he may have advice to make the panel fit. Hope this helps.

 

Crap, thats no good....thanks for the info though i really really appreciate it. Is there any chance you know anything about the pillars and interior peices to the back? I'm going to pick up the panels tomorrow, this helps me alot...thanks again man

Believe it or not I did try a search, I guess I used thr wrong word combo. Thanks for taking your time to help me out though. The link was very useful, and I think I'm gonna try it out if I can find that specific harness.
