Interior panel scuff marks

What is there to do about interior plastic scuff marks, in which the plactic is actually scraped? I have the charcoal grey panels and a few of them are scratched up. Anyone have success smoothing those out?

take a heat gun and heat them up, be careful not to touch them while they are hot or you will leave fingerprints in the plastic. just heat them up and they will dissapear. Be careful not to melt anything around it like the carpet. You dont have to hold the gun on them long they should just dissapear in a few seconds. It wont mess up the texture of the plastic. it works great.

Thanks. Where can I get a heat gun, I'm not too sure that I've ever seen one before.

I bought one at Lowes in the paint section. Go to the section with the Wagner Power Painters and there are quite a few heat guns there. I bought a Wagner Heat Gun. Hope that helps

They're sometimes called paint strippers.
