Anyone else here paint their own interior?

I might get into more detail in a different thread before I get ready to do it, but for now im just lookin' for pointers.

First off, what tools do you recommend?

When I paint the inside of my firebird I was wondering....do you take all the parts out or just mask off your whole interior really good? Cuz even if I took some out there are parts I want to paint that wont come out.

And how do you prep the parts for painting? I want to get a really professional gloss and smoothness out of it, so are there any prepping and just general painting techniques anyone can share with me?

This is the first mod I'll be doing to my car, so its kinda my first experience, sorry for all the questions.
