Anyone ever put colored bulbs in there? I took the rubber off of the ***** and they are clear now, so bright white at night. Here's a pic: Click here

Can you do this on a 94 Z28? I looked at my ***** and they don't seem like you can do that but I might be mistaken.

WhiteZ4Show,
a few questions,
for your interior neons, where are you gonna mount them, and what size/type?
for your exterior neons, what size/type are you getting and how are you going to install them?
I ask mainly b/c i have some Gold series neons on the way but i have no clue how to install them... thought i'd get your opinion. lata,
Jay

I heard that you could put on Cavalier ***** on and do the same thing.

Yea the cavalier ***** work. however I dont think the stock location of the HVAC lights are directly behind them so the light doesnt shine through them. You can however modify them with some LEDs. I am working on this mod with some ricer leds from ebay. Some say this adds up to 25hp depending on application, So I cant wait to get started!

Yep. I just ripped the rubber off and a little blue strip from the center came off with it. You have to pull from the bottom otherwise the little blue piece is difficult to get out. I messed up one **** with a screwdriver and it cost $9 from the dealer.

i just put my carbon fiber bezel in and looked at the hvac lights and they dont make colored bulbs that small. (maybe you could retrofit some Led lights in there?)
