An interesting problem...

I dont know for sure what exactly this piece is called but it is the piece of fiberglass (I'm guessing) that is right between the T-Tops and the back window. It looks like a rock or something may have chipped a piece of the finish away. Now heres the problem...

I live in South Texas...needless to say ITS HOT! On these hot days theres some sort of liquid that comes out of the chipped spot.

So my question is, what is this stuff and how do I fix it?

Thanks!

The composite plastic roof panel (or what's left of it when you have T-tops) is glued onto the metal roof hoop with mastic. Could that be what's bleeding?

The chip is not deep enough to get to that I dont think. It's almost like a clear coat finish that has been chipped away.
