i tried to fill it in with some black silcone sealent but it was too shiny. I also tried to push it back in there but it is deeper than the pod so it pushs it apart...if anyone has any other ideas of what I can use to fill in the edges I up for suggestions.

LillBush thanks for the e-mail!! Probably not the best idea but you may be able to cut the backside of the pod so the scanmaster slides through and mounts flush on the front...then maybe find someone who could mold fiberglass around the backside so it looks smooth. I don't know...just a thought.

Otherwise it looks pretty good...damn good idea you had there
