Input on springs/shocks.Must drop!

i have the 18"back and 17 front c5 rims and right now it handles pretty bad.i need to drop it.i was looking into the hal shock and front spring package and was wondering how much of a drop the front springs have,i heard it was 1.7"?the car is 75%street 25% track but i dont road course race.but i need it to handle for around town.i also need to drop the rear?any input on a shock and spring set is appreciated i just dont know much bout drop springs and shocks for my needs.

I would say about a 1.5 drop would be good. I've got Granatelli springs on mine (Mac springs really but Granatelli says it's their springs) anywho...as for the shocks, I went with KYB AGX on mine since they are adjustable. They are easy to adjust w/ just a turn of a ****. You can look at my sig for pics.

yea i still have a while to decide how much to drop and which shocks to get,but i wanna get it planned out.i saw your webpage,looks good!what about the 1.7 drop in the front and a 1-1.5 drop in the back?

Your shocks / Struts are much more important than your spring choice.

i thnk im stayin with the hal package through tbyrne b/c it comes to like 640+shipping through tbyrne and it comes with the best shocks all the way around and the front springs are matched.i just think thats the best way to go and then just get a 1.25 drop in the back.

Sounds like you have a nice plan there. KYB shocks are pretty good too. But Hals are better.
