Red face Important ZO6 Rim question. Need help quick

I'm ordering ZO6 18x9.5's all around soon. I was thinking about them then I started to worry. With 9.5 in the front, will I be able to turn? I have 8" on it now and it's fine, but 9.5 worries me. Also, my car is dropped 1" in the front and 1.5 in the back, what size tires do I need...40, 45? and 235,225? Thanks for the help. God Bless

You will be fine. Get some 275 or 285/35/18's. If you had 10.5's in the front, then I would be worried.

I would NOT go with the 235/40/18's. 245/40/18 is minimum in my opinion. I would go with 275/35/18's. The tire width is 9.5 inches and would look great on a 9.5" wheel. You want the 18x9.5" wheels to look good? Go with the 275/35/18's, and also no speedo changes will occur.

235's are a little narrow for a 9.5 inch wheel, and is the smallest tire you can put on a wheel that size. Remember, the factory wheels are only 8 inches wide and has 245's. SS's and WS6's come with 275's on a 9 inch rim. If you really want 235's then get 235/40's or 45's, but why would you go with a narrower tire? I would get 275/35's myself, but do what you got to do.

I missed that one, but I agree. With 9.5 rims, go with the 275.

Oh, thanks for your help guys. I was told that 235 was 9.5, so I thought 275 was a monster. I guess I'll go with 275. Sorry for the confusion. God Bless
