Exclamation IMPORTANT wheel question

I stopped by tirestation today and asked the guy about new wheels for my car. He told me that 2255016 tires would correspond with 16x9 wheels. My car came stock with 16 inch wheels. Would puting 15 inch wheels on make it look stupid? Because these are all i can afford. Opions needed because i plan on odreing the wheels tomorow morning!!

I personally think it WOULDNT look good. I would wait and get some 17's if I were you.

whats up, don't do the 15's. I have a set of 16 inch niche primas with brand new kuhmo Z rated 245/50/16s for sale at $900. These wheels are like new(not a scratch) and looked very nice with my black 93 Z. I am only selling cause I got 18 inch Z06 wheels. I live very near Winston-Salem NC, so we aren't far apart.Let me know something if you are interested.

Find another tire shop. A 225/50-16 requires a wheel 5.5 to 7.5" wide (some manufacturers say 6 - 8"). Not a 9" wide wheel. And that is a really narrow tire anyway. Would look extremely skinny on a 4th Gen. The V8's come with 245/50-16 on 8" wide rims. You'd be better off just getting the wheels/tires off a V8 for low $$$ than accepting a too narrow tire on the wrong width wheel.

Please don't bolt 15" rims on a camaro just so they're "different" than stock... Stock 16s look much better than ANY 15 ever could, IMO.

Definately check this board and Ebay for a used setup as mentioned above. That's ALWAYS the way I get my rims/tires, they're sometimes 1/2 price!
