Hey guys just wanted some suggestions and tips on installing a body kit from an ls1 on my lt1, its the rs body kit and if anyone has ever put one on please tell me how you did it (what adhesives you may have used, stuff like that) and i'd like to avoid drilling any holes for the spoiler, are there any tapes or glues that will work just as good? i know 3m makes some strong stuff.. thanks

 

Well I can attest to the 3m tape being strong since a few years back I went to try and remove my 3-piece spoiler and like a moron I didn't heat it up first and it pulled the clearcoat and paint- yes paint off the car where it was stuck down. So I still have the 3 piece on there.

As far the body kit- a few screws here and there should be fine along with some tape. Just make sure you throughly clean and prep the area that is going to have tape on it.

 

thats insane man it took the paint off with it haha, well i'll look into the tape then for sure, was it just regular double-sided?
