The Ideal Camaro - Phase 5 - Shade of Orange

Phase 5 of the Ideal Camaro - Shade of Orange.

For rules/explanation, please visit this page.

So far, the majority has voted for a 1993-1997 Style Camaro, in a shade of Orange, with no Ground Effects, and a GM SS Hood. The shade of orange will be determined in this round.

I wanted to go ahead and get this nailed down because color changes the way I look at what a car needs, and I figure I am not the only one like this.

So please choose one of the shades, and if you vote for other - please explain. I figure there is only gonna be two that recieve the majority of votes, so I didn't take time to pick out several different shades.

*If you choose bright orange, just use your imagination. If you have a hard time with that - then just picture something along the lines of this (my truck). And the same goes for dark orange - just use your imagination. (I doubt that either of these will win - if they do, then I will just pick a shade and let everyone see what it looks like).

In my opinion, Hugger Orange looks better on the 93-97 fbods and SOM looks better on the 98+ fbods. I dont know what it is but SOM doesnt quite look as good on the 93-97 fbods as Hugger. But granted, you dont see alot of 93-97 that are SOM.

SOM seems to be more popular than I thought it was going to be.
I was expecting Hugger to be the more popular of the two.

(Slow site - be patient).

I too think Hugger looks better on '93-'97 and SOM on '98+.

I would consider that a bright orange - or if nothing else - there is the other category.

But you got to realize - there is really only two contenders here - SOM and Hugger. Anything other than SOM is gonna need a LOT of votes quick in order to win.

And SOM it is.
It may be tomorrow before I get the next thread up - but I will get it as soon as I can.
It will be for spoilers (and I am 95% sure I know which one will win already).

So we shall continue with the Ideal Camaro.

Re: The Ideal Camaro - Phase 5 - Shade of Orange

Just to throw a loop into things, the new C6 Vette offers a new orange for the new body style that is amazing. This is the color I'm thinking about for my new 94 Z as soon as I get it. Just thought I would make the decission a little more difficult for ya haha.
