i think I stumbled on a good way to mount a front plate

well, seeing that I need to get my no front plate fix it ticket signed off soon, I need a way to get a plate mounted to the front. I was got gonna go out and buy the bracket and drill holes in my front bumper, since i will only have the plate mounted for the day I get the ticket signed off. I wanted to use double side tape, but was told it wouldnt be secure enough for them to sign my ticket off, plus I didnt want tape residue on my car. Well, heres what I thought up. Get 2 L-Brackets, and the proper hardware, mount the plates to one side of the L-bracket, and drill the holes on the underside of the bumper to hold up the L-bracket. Now I havent mounted it up yet, still need to drill the holes in the bumper. I did a test fit/mount, and it looked good. I have a few pics left on a throw away camera, so I will snap some pics and post them when they are developed.

ive been thinkin about putting it on the air dam too but if the cop wanted to see it, he would have to get down on his hands and knees to see it.

I put my plate on the air dam and havent had any problems at all. Replacing my SS grill insert is not an option.

I got a ticket here in ohio for not having a front plate. The judge laughed at me when I went to court. Next time I got pulled over, warning for reckless op., me and the cop were talking and I told him about it, he said the person that gave me that ticket was stupid.

No front plate for me!

Why does everyone make a big deal out of it?? Just put the stupid plate on for crying out loud, who cares, it doesn't make the car look bad at all, it looks much worse when you all do this stupid **** like L-brackets and putting it on the air damn, it looks like crap.

On the dash? Why don't you think that would look even worse then putting it on the front where it belongs? Personally i think putting it in the window looks like crap too.
